 Yoga is not just a practice, it is a way of life.

I often like to call yoga a biotechnology; a tool that can transform our mind, body and soul. A method that enhances our quality of life. A practice that can heal the body and mind from both physical and mental ailments; and most of all, Yoga guides every individual back to true and authentic happiness. 

Yoga is for everyone, everywhere. 

Everybody deserves access to such an amazing and powerful way of life.

Marissa teaches her classes with precision and a focus on alignment. She keeps her focus on creating a safe space for all students to feel comfortable in their practice.

With an educational background in science, a passion for spirituality and a desire to share philosophy, Marissa weaves a multifaceted class together. Her classes are multilayered- where traditional yogic wisdom meets modern neuroscience and physiology; and provides a landscape for students to be guided towards self realization, deeper levels of healing or simply accessing higher levels of both physical and mental performance.

Marissa brings so much information into her classes with the intention to guide others towards their own satya - truth. With the desire to help all find their North Star, their own inner guidance and through yoga- she seeks to pave a path for all to find their way in life and not just live life- but ENJOY and experience all that life has to offer. 

Marissa continues her education daily, bringing in new information and keeps her classes fresh, fun and exciting. In addition to teaching yoga she also is a life coach, personal trainer, sound healer and is working her way towards integrative medicine. 

Services

Marissa offers a wide range of services to the community as a healer and a leader. She runs online and in person workshops and programs, hosts specialty retreats and leads intentional ceremonies with small and large groups. 

You can take a public class with her, book a private session for coaching or work with her one on one learning and/or refining your yoga practice.

Life coaching guides you towards a deeper understanding of what is holding you back and taking up space. Through an extensive process of discovery- you will uproot the old and lay a new foundation to reach new heights and goals.

Whether you have been doing yoga for years or have never been in a class - a private session offers extensive details towards deepening your practice. You will get undivided attention, learn the foundational and advanced skills as well as a customized offering. Private classes are curated to individual goals. We can explore yoga for mental health, addiction, weight loss, stress management and/or strength and flexibility.

Staying healthy is an inside job. Personal training allows you the opportunity to train with a professional to refine your fitness and health goals. We can curate a nutrition and exercise plan for weight loss, bettering heart health and maintaining mental and cognitive health. Science has proven that physical fitness can reduce, prevent and reverse severe life style related disease. Let's plan a path back to healthy and happy living!
